Well, I never had in mind creating my own website. When I was looking for a simple and quick way to calibrate the gamma value of a monitor many years ago, I got the idea to come up with QuickGamma. In fact I wrote QuickGamma just for my personal use. After Norman Koren had put QuickGamma on his website, the demand for QuickGamma was so strong that I decided to run my own website. Because my webhosting came with two DE domains, I created the domain EberhardWerle.de besides QuickGamma.de. After I had redirected EberhardWerle.de to QuickGamma.de for a long time, I finally decided to utilize the domain EberhardWerle.de too.

ARD Radionet/Swing as a Winamp Service and a HTML5 Player

This webpage provides a Winamp online service for the German public ARD radio stations and a small list of Swing & Classic Jazz radio internet stations.

Besides, there are two HTML5 players available on the same page. HTML version 5 introduced an Audio Object, which can play audio streams without the need for an external player. Because all major web browsers support the Audio Object nowadays I have created two webpages using Audio Objects for playing the German public ARD internet radio stations and the small list of Swing and Classic Jazz internet radio stations as well without requiring an additional player.

Attention:, this part of my website was moved into the "webradio" subdomain when implementing the SSL encryption for the rest of my website because not all embedded external elements are SSL enabled. Everyone who has been using the Winamp service files omService_{0000033708}.ini and/or omService_{0000033709}.ini in the past needs to download these files again because the files now point to the subdomain "webradio". There and only there are all required files available.

QuickGamma

QuickGamma is a program, which allows correcting the monitor gamma value of a Windows computer for all attached monitors that are currently turned on. All monitors of a Windows computer should have a native gamma value of 2.2, but in reality this is often not the case. To achieve a maximum picture quality, the monitor gamma needs to be corrected. This can be done in a quick and simple way by using QuickGamma. Detailed information about QuickGamma is available on the QuickGamma website.

QuickMonitorProfile

QuickMonitorProfile is a program to create ICC profiles for monitors. It can use the chromaticity values stored in the monitor. The chromaticity values contain the particular color information for the red, green and blue pixels of the monitor. When creating a profile, you can select a folder where the profile will be stored into. The profile can be installed into Windows and can be made the default profile for the respective monitor automatically. You can also create profiles for other color spaces by selecting a number of available parameters in QuickMonitorProfile. Before using ICC profiles it is absolutely necessary to understand color management. There is a lot of information about color management available on the Internet.

ListGammaRamp

ListGammaRamp reads the LUT from the graphics card and displays the LUT data in a list.

ListVCGT

ListVCGT reads the VCGT data of an ICC profile file and displays the data in a list, provided the ICC file contains a VCGT tag.

QuickProfileLoader

QuickProfileLoader reads the VCGT data of the ICC profile assigned to each actually powered on monitor and loads the graphics card's LUT for the respective monitor.

QuickProfileLoader is an intrinsic component of QuickGamma.

QuickProfileLoader is also available as a standalone program to load the LUT with VCG Tag data of ICC monitor profiles created elsewhere. QuickProfileLoader for standalone use must be downloaded and installed separately.
